Terms of Service
Version 1 — Effective March 14, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Paytracker ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Paytracker provides email-based Interac e-Transfer tracking tools. The Service parses notification emails to help you monitor incoming payments. Paytracker is an informational tool only and does not initiate, process, hold, or transfer any funds.
3. No Liability for Funds
Paytracker does not handle, hold, move, or guarantee the delivery of any funds. All e-Transfers are processed entirely by your financial institution and Interac Corp. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Paytracker is not responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected, or unclaimed e-Transfers.
- Paytracker is not responsible for any discrepancies between payment notifications tracked by the Service and actual transactions at your financial institution.
- You are solely responsible for verifying all payment information with your financial institution.
- Paytracker shall not be liable for any financial loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree not to share your account or use the Service for illegal purposes.
5. Service Availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and may modify or discontinue the Service at any time.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paytracker and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or funds, whether direct or indirect, arising from your use of the Service.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the version number and effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance, however you will be asked to explicitly re-accept the updated terms before continuing to use the Service.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
